Primal Primer 16 (Mentality)
Past sapiens systematized accomplishing hunting and innovative goals through a combination of planning, cooperation, and tool use. Developing processes that emphasize flexibility, strategic thinking, and efficient resource management, ensured dominance over competing species. These systemic apporaches reduced long distance journeys of contenental mileage into the its most basic constituent parts of foot steps. Out ancestors built accomplishments into lifetimes; constructing foundations and scaffolds often never seeing it’s finish; but knowing it will provide shelter for generations.
Goal Setting – Before a hunt, sapiens would establish clear goals based on available prey, environment, and needs of the group. This process identified target, tools, and contingency coordination.
Scouting & Tracking – Scouting environments involved knowledge of landscape, weather patterns, and prey behavior. Utilizing ambush and persistence hunting tactics, the sapien paid careful attention to subtle clues of prey in escape and migration.
Strategic Planning & Role Allocation – Formulating plans maximizing strengths of group members makes hunting highly strategic and customized. From role allocation (specific jobs of members) to ambush and flanking designates within each group; human resource management is critical.
Technology & Tool Use – From projectile weapons to blades for butchering, a wide range of specific tools were necessary kit equipped in any successful hunt.
Cooperation & Social Learning – Knowledge sharing, collaboration between groups (intermediated through leadership), and long term planning for storing surplus, sharing resources, and subsequent hunt planning ensures a well provisioned tribe.
Systems Approach To Goals
In successful hunting, project management, or Life Unifying Purpose (LUP), planning is heavier than execution. All operations are most effective through deliberate and carefully planned and replanned phases. The breakdown of complex into simple constituent parts facilitates division and conquering of elements (Steady Progression Loading). Through a systems approach, sapiens specify an order of operations sequencing goal completion. Systems function, goals are destinations.
~Cave Implementation~
Following goal selection, carefully consider planning and division of goal; establish metrics in gauging progress and success. Understanding adjustments are part of due process; goal posts are certain to move (degree scalable to goal magnitude). Ascertain education, equipment, personnel, while establishing realistic time bound deliverables. Treat comprehensive goals or LUP (Life Unifying Purpose) like a battle plan. Assemble resources, provide leadership, direction, and launch your assault. Rome was not built or conquered in a day.
Systems Function & Goals Are Destinations.
